When someone asks AI who to hire around here, you want to be the answer.
Search doesn't just mean Google anymore. People ask ChatGPT for a recommendation, read the AI summary and never scroll, or get one spoken answer from their phone. We make sure your business is the one that comes up, in search results and in the answers that are replacing them.
Book a Discovery CallYour customers are still searching. They're just not always landing on Google.
For twenty years, getting found online meant one thing. Rank on Google, get clicks, get customers. That still matters and it isn't going away, but it stopped being the whole picture.
Now someone needing what you do might ask ChatGPT and get three recommendations. They might read the summary at the top of Google and never scroll past it. They might ask their phone out loud and get exactly one answer back. In every one of those cases something is deciding which businesses get named, and whatever that something is, it isn't working off the same signals it was five years ago.
The businesses that win the next few years are the ones showing up in all of it at once.
Three letters at a time
| What it stands for | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| SEO — Search Engine Optimization | Coming up when someone googles what you do |
| AEO — Answer Engine Optimization | Getting quoted in the AI summary that sits above the results |
| GEO — Generative Engine Optimization | Getting recommended when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini for a business like yours |
These three work together more than they compete. Traditional search is still the foundation, because AI systems are reading the same web as everyone else. The difference is in how the writing is built. A page made to rank gives Google plenty of reasons to list it. A page made to get quoted answers one question clearly enough that an AI can lift the answer straight out of it.
Do one without the other and you leave visibility sitting on the table. We write for both at once.
What you're actually buying
You stop depending on referrals alone.
Word of mouth is great until it's the only thing filling your calendar. This builds a second channel that runs whether or not you made it to a networking event this month.
You show up at the exact moment someone needs you.
Not an ad interrupting someone's day. A person actively looking for what you do, finding you, and calling. That's the highest-intent lead there is, and it costs you nothing per click.
You become the obvious choice instead of one of five tabs.
Showing up in the AI answer does something a tenth-place ranking never will. It reads as a recommendation, not an option.
It keeps working after you stop paying for it.
Ads stop the day the budget stops. The work here accumulates. A page that ranks keeps ranking, and the content built this year is still pulling people in next year.
You get a straight answer about whether it's working.
Not a report full of graphs that avoids the question. If something isn't paying off, we'll say so and change it.
Because it compounds, and because it never really finishes
Search visibility isn't a project you complete. Your competitors keep publishing, Google keeps changing, and the AI tools shift what they pull from every few months. A site that was dialed in two years ago is quietly falling behind right now.
Every month adds to what's already there. More pages answering more of the questions your customers actually ask, more signals telling search engines and AI tools what your business is and who it's for. Month one looks like groundwork. Month twelve looks like a machine.
That's also why this isn't fast. Anyone promising you results in weeks is selling you something.
This makes sense if
- You've got a website that works, and the problem is that not enough people are finding it
- You're in a competitive local market and you need every edge you can get
- You're playing a long game and you'd rather build something that lasts than rent attention
This isn't the move if
- Your website doesn't convert yet. More traffic to a site that doesn't work is just more people leaving.
- You need the phone ringing this month. Search isn't that. Paid ads might be, and we'll tell you so
- You want guaranteed rankings. Nobody can promise those, and anyone who does is selling you something
Questions worth asking
How long until I see something?
For most local service businesses, meaningful movement shows up somewhere between six and twelve months. You'll usually catch smaller wins earlier, things like turning up for more specific searches or getting cited in an AI answer. The rankings that actually change your phone volume take the better part of a year.
Do you guarantee first page results?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. Nobody controls Google's rankings, so a guarantee is either a bluff or a promise to chase terms so specific that ranking for them doesn't help you. What we can promise is the work, and a straight read on whether it's paying off.
Is AEO and GEO just a buzzword?
The acronyms are new. The shift underneath them is not. A growing share of searches now end in an answer instead of a click, and if you're not in those answers you're invisible to that traffic.
Can you do this if my site is on another platform?
Usually, yes. Send us a message with your site and we'll take a look at what's possible on your setup.
What if I'm already paying someone for SEO?
Bring us their last report. We'll tell you straight whether it's working. Sometimes it is.
Do I need a new website first?
Sometimes. If your current site confuses people or gives them nowhere to go, sending more traffic to it won't help. We'll tell you on the call if that's the situation, and a new site runs $99 a month.
Let's look at where you actually stand
Book a call and we'll go through what you're showing up for right now, what your competition is doing, and whether this is the right place to put your money. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too.
